Ms. Phyllis Ann Carral

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course, I have kept the faith; Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge, shall give one at that day, and not to me only. II Timothy 4:6-8 The Angel of the Lord has visited again, he has chosen among us one of our best. On Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m., Phyllis Ann Carral was called from earth to Heaven's reward from Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation of Plaquemine, Louisiana. Phyllis was born February 19, 1963, to the late Emile and Rena Mae Butler Carral. She accepted Christ and became a member of Rosevalley Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Rev. Bobby Shower, Sr. and later attending Faith Hope and Charity Mission Church under the leadership Pastor Jennis J Dennis. She loved attending church and remain faithful even when her health started declining she went. Phyllis attended Amite High School and graduated with the Class of 1981 and went on to attend Southern University and A&M College. Her life reflected warmth, strength and unwavering care for her family. She found great joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren and sister (they had a meaningful connection with each other Madea and Aunt Bam). Phyllis was blessed with three wonderful children and eleven grandchildren. Phyllis leaves to cherish her precious memories, three children: Christopher (Deniecya) Carral of Magnolia, Mississippi, a very devoted daughter, Christie Carral of Amite, Louisiana and Brandon (Dominique) Carral of Natalbany, Louisiana; One sister: Donna Carral of Roseland, Louisiana; Two brothers: Ronald Carral of Jackson, Mississippi and Kevin (Tedoria) Carral of Denham Springs, Louisiana; eleven grand- children: JViyon, Chrishell (Char), Christopher (Man-Man) Jr., Romijah (RoRo), Jadacie (Noonie), Crystal (Tootie), Brandon (BJ), Raylon, Aria (Fat), Destiny and Christian; Four nephews: Alvin, Darian, Bryce and Ishmael; Five nieces: Apollonia, Kiley, Jazmun, Jamika and Emily. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Emile and Rena Mae Butler Carral; one sister, Sarah Carral; one brother, Aaron Carral and one grandson, Brayden Carral.
